Hi. We adopted a dog 09-4158 back in November 2009. We named her Bailey. I want to let you know what a sweetheart she is. She is sooooo cute and so much fun. She has buddy Tucker, a 4 year old cocker mix and they love to chase each other and play. She is a very, very good dog and the two of them brings smiles to my wife and I every day. They have a big fenced in yard to play in and they use every inch of it. Attached is a picture of 09-4158 at your place and a picture of Bailey relaxing in one of her favorite spots. I think you can see a happier dog. We are very happy to have her brighten our lives every day. Thank you for what you do. If your place wasn't there who knows what could have happened to the sweet little girl. She deserved a second chance and we couldn't be happier that it is with us.

05-3284 Sugar

In September of 2005, after the sudden death of our 8 year old beloved border collie, Teddy, we came to the humane society looking to adopt another small dog for a companion for our late mixed collie, Tonya. We were lucky to find Sugar, a black and white a rat terrier. She had been given up by her owner because Sugar didn't get along with her young children. Sugar adapted quickly to our household and today, is happy and healthy, playing along side our chihuahua/pug mix, Sandi. We can't imagine life without Sugar.

Attached are 2 so-so pictures of my Jo-Jo (I'll send better ones soon). I adopted her about 3 years ago as an 8 wk old puppy. I've grown up with dogs all my life and can say with certainty that she is the most loving, gentle, sweetest, kindest dog ever. JoJo is a part of our family. She brings us happiness every day. We are blessed to have her. Thank you for all you do in caring for the animals and finding good homes for them. Pam

08-3942 Bubba AKA Lucky

Happy Holidays! I wanted to take a moment to say how happy we are that Bubba has joined our family. (changed name from Lucky) We adopted Bubba in October 2008 after a year of grieving the loss of our rottweiler. Bubba fit right in our family. Bubba and Tesla, our shepherd, are like 2 peas in a pod. Every morning they jumped on my daughter's bed to wake her for school then we play until it is time to take her to school. After Julianna is dropped off at school, Bubba, Tesla and I go for long walks around the neighborhood with our friend. Our walks average about 1 hour. When we come home Bubba takes his morning nap on my lap while I work. They can't wait for my daughter to come home from school and my husband from work. Bubba's favorite toy is a Spongebob pillow that my daughter gave him on his first night in our house. He lays on it and sucks the feet like a binky. Tesla knows not to touch it. Bubba is the boss. Bubba is loved by all the kids on the street and the neighborhood. The girls even made a song "Bubba is the king!" Our friends have a pug as well and if we go out for family weekends Bubba stays with his girlfriend "Roxanne!" In 2010 we are taking the dogs with us to Martha's Vineyard. I can't wait to see how Bubba likes the beach. We can't thank you enough for bringing Bubba into our lives. He has filled the hole in our hearts left by Titan. 09-3528 Cookie

Thought you might want to see Nemo with Chloe (We changed it from Cookie). Chloe has been a handful, but she and Nemo have found a balance. Chloe and the cats? Not going as well, but we're working on it. She's non-stop energy, but lots of fun and she definitely has helped get Nemo into shape. They like to chase each other around the house and play tug of war. They're both very popular at the dog park during our weekend visits. :-)
