Our cruelty investigations department investigates allegations of abuse or neglect regarding pets in homes, pet stores and other locations.  Abuse and neglect includes such things as:

• Depriving an animal of food, water, veterinary care, or clean and sanitary shelter
• Physically harming an animal
• Using an animal for fighting

If we can not provide the service to address a concern about an animal, we will refer a caller to the appropriate authority.  Complaints may be made anonymously, but if we have your name and telephone number, we can follow up on the complaint and obtain any additional information that may be needed.
